Ashlee McGeehan

​​Ashlee is a Multimedia Journalist and Fill-in Anchor at FOX 46 in Charlotte, NC.

 

Previously, Ashlee worked for WJET TV in Erie, PA as a reporter and Fill-in Anchor.

 

A 2013 graduate from Penn State University, she has a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism with minors in Business and Political Science. She is passionate about the communications industry, which began when she was in high school. Ashlee served as the anchor for her high school's weekly live television show Good Morning Millcreek. Her passion for communications has lead her to a variety of experience in the industry through organizations and internships.

 

Ashlee was elected to be an anchor, producer, and web producer for Penn State's Emmy Award winning, and BEA award winning, show The Centre County Report. She also served as a reporter for the weekly live broadcast.

In the industry Ashlee has had internships in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing/PR. In 2012, she worked as a production assistant when she interned with NBC Universal affiliate, E! News, in New York City. Along with that, Ashlee is a former intern of her employer, Jet24/Fox66, in Erie, PA. She has worked for Penn State's ComRadio as an anchor, reporter and Special Events producer. She has done marketing for Penn State's Olympic Sports and serviced as Zeta Tau Alpha's Philanthropy Chair, planning and publicizing events.
